Brevra Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Last updated and effective: October 22, 2026

This policy explains how Brevra handles "consumer health data" as defined by the Washington My Health My Data Act, Nevada's consumer health data law (SB 370), Connecticut's data privacy law, and similar laws. It supplements our Privacy Policy, and applies to everyone who uses Brevra, wherever they live.

1. Consumer health data we collect

Heart rate and active energy read from Apple Health stay on your iPhone. We do not collect them.

2. Why we collect it

To provide the features you ask for — logging and syncing your workouts, showing your history, progress, records and estimates, and building programs and starting weights — and to maintain, secure and improve them. We collect only the consumer health data reasonably necessary for these purposes. Information that has been de-identified so that it can no longer be linked to you is not consumer health data, and we may use it to improve Brevra and develop new features. We will not attempt to re-identify it, and we require anyone we share it with to do the same.

3. Where it comes from

From you, when you enter it in the app; from Apple Health, only when you give permission and choose to import body weight or height; and from your Apple Watch, through the iPhone app.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell consumer health data. We share it only with service providers (processors) that process it on our behalf under contract, such as the cloud host of Brevra, Google LLC (Google Cloud Platform), and any customer support, crash-reporting or analytics provider we use. If you turn it on, the app writes your finished workouts to Apple Health on your device, at your direction. We may also disclose it if the law requires it. We have no affiliates.

5. Consent

Before we collect consumer health data, the app asks for your separate, express consent, apart from accepting the Terms, and we record when you gave it. Apple Health access needs your separate permission in iOS. Where the law requires it, we will ask for your separate consent before we collect consumer health data for another purpose, or share it with anyone other than our service providers. To withdraw your consent, delete your account, as described in section 6.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

To make a request, use Account → Your data or Account → Delete account in the app, or email rongcuidev@gmail.com from the email address on your account. We respond within 45 days, and usually much sooner. We may extend this once by another 45 days where reasonably necessary, and will tell you why. Requests are free, and we will not treat you differently for making one.

7. Appeals

If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our answer with the word "Appeal". We will respond in writing within 45 days, explaining what we decided and why. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the attorney general of your state. Washington residents can file a complaint with the Washington State Attorney General at atg.wa.gov/file-complaint.
